Málaga Center contracts fall under the Convenio Colectivo Estatal de Empresas de Consultoría y Estudios de Mercados y de la Opinión Pública. The convenio is renewed periodically and the salary tables are updated yearly. Always check the latest version published in the BOE — the official text always prevails over any summary on this site.
What the convenio covers
Professional groups
The classification of roles into professional groups and levels, and the salary tables attached to each.
Working time
Annual working hours, daily limits, rest periods, and the rules around overtime.
Leave & vacation
Minimum paid vacation (22 working days), paid leave for life events, and unpaid leave.
Telework
The framework for remote work, expense compensation, and the right to disconnect.
Probation & notice
Probation periods by group and the notice periods required from each side.
Disciplinary regime
The classification of infractions and sanctions, and the procedure the company must follow.
It also covers salary structure, equality plans, and the comisión paritaria (the joint committee that interprets the agreement).
Where Oracle Málaga goes beyond the convenio
The convenio sets the floor, not the ceiling. Oracle's internal policy improves on several minimums — for example 25 vacation days vs. the convenio's 22, plus the benefits described on the Benefits page. Where company policy is more favourable, it applies; where it is less favourable, the convenio minimum prevails.
